How Agentic GenAI is Currently Used to Change Traditional Sports Media Workflows and Fan Experience to Watch Personalised Highlights

Key Notes from our speaker Vaibhav Panchal (Vebz)

  • Aiko is an AI-powered sports companion designed to personalise fan engagement across live-streaming platforms, integrating federations, broadcasters, and gaming to meet the demands of younger, attention-fragmented audiences.

  • The system combines hybrid LLMs with traditional machine learning to enable real-time, contextual conversations, tailored statistics, and personalised highlight reels during live matches.

  • A live demo illustrated Aiko’s ability to learn user preferences dynamically, creating customised content experiences based on real-time match data and individual fan profiles.

  • Aiko operates via multiple AI agents that process live events, generate commentary, and analyse match stats, all while maintaining high accuracy to avoid misinformation.

  • Despite current response accuracy ranging between 88–95%, the team targets 99% while scaling to millions of concurrent users, with validation from industry players like Microsoft, Meta, and Google.

  • Key development challenges such as hallucinations and data reliability are addressed through data sanitisation, enterprise-grade sources, and strict guardrails, positioning Aiko as a leader in hyper-personalised sports engagement.
