Biography

Dr. Jan Blümel is a researcher at the Cambridge Service Alliance. His work focuses on leveraging natural language processing technology to enhance customer experience and improve services. Currently Jan is exploring the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) to personalise customer service interactions and streamline service engineering processes.

Jan earned his PhD from the University of Cambridge, where he also completed an MPhil in Industrial Systems, Manufacture and Management at the Institute for Manufacturing. Before joining Cambridge, he obtained a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration from RWTH Aachen University in Germany.
