How Agentic GenAI is Currently Used to Change Traditional Sports Media Workflows and Fan Experience to Watch Personalised Highlights
Key Notes from our speaker Vaibhav Panchal (Vebz)
Aiko is an AI-powered sports companion designed to personalise fan engagement across live-streaming platforms, integrating federations, broadcasters, and gaming to meet the demands of younger, attention-fragmented audiences.
The system combines hybrid LLMs with traditional machine learning to enable real-time, contextual conversations, tailored statistics, and personalised highlight reels during live matches.
A live demo illustrated Aiko’s ability to learn user preferences dynamically, creating customised content experiences based on real-time match data and individual fan profiles.
Aiko operates via multiple AI agents that process live events, generate commentary, and analyse match stats, all while maintaining high accuracy to avoid misinformation.
Despite current response accuracy ranging between 88–95%, the team targets 99% while scaling to millions of concurrent users, with validation from industry players like Microsoft, Meta, and Google.
Key development challenges such as hallucinations and data reliability are addressed through data sanitisation, enterprise-grade sources, and strict guardrails, positioning Aiko as a leader in hyper-personalised sports engagement.
