Xia Han presented his research on 'Bringing Network Externalities to Service Platform Design' at the 7th International Seminar on Service Modularity in Copenhagen, Denmark in January. This seminar brought in a wide range of disciplines related to service modularity research, with the aim to build a research community on this subject. In Han’s presentation, he proposed a theoretical framework, which looks into the business model, service complexity, ecosystem sustainability and network governance, as a way to examine a service’s fitness to in a platform setting.
