Webinar on Redistributing the Future of Consumer Goods
In a recent Webinar to the Network of Consumer Goods, Big Data and Re-distributed Manufacturing (RECODE) discussed the different perspectives of Re-distributed manufacturing, and how by combining big data it could not just re-define the consumer goods industry but also change the economics and organization of manufacturing, to enable more resilient systems towards a more circular economy.
Mohamed Zaki spoke about big data ecosystems in re-distributed manufacturing. The session also heard from Dr Fiona Charnley, Cranfield Univeristy, who spoke about re-distributed manufacturing and circular innovation, and Dr Babis Theodoulidis who spoke about the globalisation of redistributed manufacturing enabled by big data.
