Cambridge Service Alliance

At the forefront of service transformation in the digital era

In May 2023, one of our researchers, Jan Blümel, participated in the IfM Generative AI Competition.

It was an opportunity for students and early career researchers to showcase their best use cases/ workflows of generative AI in academic research. Participants delivered 90-second presentations to the audience and panel of two judges from the Department of Computer Science and Faculty of Education, which awarded prizes based on the cumulative scores from the expert panel.

Jan won the first prize by presenting how ChatGPT can help researchers to perform topic modelling for systematic literature reviews using the advanced contextual language understanding and user-friendly interface.
