Biography

Matthäus Wilga is a research collaborator at the Cambridge Service Alliance and a doctoral researcher at the Chair of Information Systems I, Innovation and Value Creation at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. His research focuses on the integration of AI agents in digital and physical service settings. He has published research on both the role of AI agents in service interactions and their impact on human well-being. At the Cambridge Service Alliance, Matthäus explores how the integration of digital AI agents shapes customer experience in physical retail settings.

 

Matthäus holds a M.Sc. in International Business with a specialization in strategy and innovation from Maastricht University, as well as an International M.Sc. in Management from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal. Moreover, he earned a B.Sc. in International Relations and Management, comprising business, international politics as well as culture studies. Matthäus gained international practical experience in multinational corporations such as Philips and ProsiebenSat.1 Media SE, in the robotics start-up Magazino and as a freelance consultant in the manufacturing sector.
