Invitation to the Launch of the EPSRC-Funded Redistributed Manufacturing Network

There is an open invitation to the launch event of the RECODE network, which is due to take place on 3rd June at IDEALondon. The network in Re-Distributed Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Big Data (RECODE) aims to engage a diverse community to explore the use of big data in the development of a re-distributed, joined up model of production for the future. The network is an EPSRC-funded Redistriburted Manufacturing Network focusing on'Consumer Goods, Big Data, and Redistributed Manufacturing'.  It is a two-year project which will be known as the 'RECODE Network'. 

This initial event will bring together academics, practitioners, policy makers and others to introduce the network, through key note talks from Cisco, Consumer Goods organisations and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and start to develop a multi-disciplinary community, roadmap and vision for the future of UK manufacturing.

An additional launch event will also be held in Manchester on 19th June.
